About us
Handwork connects people with trusted plumbers, electricians, carpenters, tailors and other skilled workers right in their neighbourhood.
Finding a reliable worker in Nigeria usually means asking around, hoping for a good referral, or taking a chance on someone you have never met. Skilled workers, on the other hand, often struggle to be found by the right customers. We built Handwork to solve both sides of that problem at once.
Our platform shows you verified workers near you, lets you chat with them before committing, and holds your payment safely until the job is done. No more guessing, no more chasing unreliable contacts.
Every worker verifies their email and phone number before appearing in search.
Money is held in escrow and released only when the work is delivered.
We match you with people in your area, not strangers across town.
Ratings come from actual customers who have hired the worker.
Clients search for a trade, send a request to a nearby worker, and agree on the details in chat. Workers list their trades and set their availability. When a job is agreed, payment is protected in escrow until the client confirms the work is complete.
Join Handwork today and find the help you need, or grow your trade.
